CuSn12

Hard bronze that presents excellent friction properties. It is used for the parts that work at high speeds and pressures. It is shock-resistant.

It is the most used in mechanics, chemical, shipbuiling, civil engineering industries and high pressure faucets. That alloy is comes into current use for some parts of tool-machines, hydraulic press : bearings, sockets, tangent wheels, nuts and screws of press, guides, boots, etc...
